Саме в Міжнародний день інвалідів найактивніших представників цієї категорії населення Любомльщини відзначили цінними подарунками і подяками від районної та міської влади. Вручав їх перший заступник голови Любомльської райдержадміністрації Олександр Герасимчук. Окремі слова вдячності керівники об’єднань Валентина Потапук та Наталія Ляшук висловили своїм колегам, котрі майже щодня трудяться і допомагають в діяльності організацій, готують цікаві заходи, беруть участь в обласних конкурсах та фестивалях. Декому із них протягом року вдалося побувати й далеко за межами області, представляючи наш край. Коротко про події, учасниками яких стали наші гравці в боча Володимир Склянчук та Віталій Булавка, розповіла мама останнього Олена. Крім цього, на всеукраїнському конкурсі «Мужність без обмежень» Вову було визнано найвродливішим чоловіком серед осіб із інвалідністю, а ще він отримав титул «Містер харизма». Коротеньку концертну програму розпочали вихованці міського будинку школяра, які порадували присутніх співом, потім свої вірші читали Любов Голядинець та Наталка Котович, а також виступили учасники ветеранського хору «Осіннє золото».
